Discover Deosai National Park
Deosai National Park is one of the world's highest plateaus, stretching 3,000 square kilometres at an average altitude of 4,114 metres above sea level. From July to September, this vast, treeless highland is transformed into an endless carpet of wildflowers — reds, yellows, blues — swaying in the mountain wind under vast blue skies. Deosai is also a critical habitat for the endangered Himalayan brown bear, the Marco Polo sheep, golden marmots, and the elusive snow leopard. The silence and scale of Deosai are humbling — you feel genuinely small on this ancient plateau at the top of the world.
