Hunza and Skardu Grand Tour

Depart from Islamabad and begin the scenic journey toward northern Pakistan. Travel through spectacular mountain landscapes with sightseeing and refreshment stops along the way. Arrive in Chilas and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, continue toward Hunza Valley. Stop at scenic viewpoints along the Karakoram Highway, including the Nanga Parbat viewpoint and the Junction Point of the Karakoram, Himalayan and Hindu Kush mountain ranges where accessible. Continue to Karimabad, check in at the hotel and spend the evening exploring the surroundings.

After breakfast, depart Hunza for Skardu. Enjoy the dramatic mountain landscapes along the journey through Gilgit-Baltistan. Stop at selected viewpoints and arrive in Skardu in the evening. Check in at the hotel and relax after the journey.

Explore the beautiful Upper Kachura Lake and surrounding landscapes. Continue toward Soq Valley to experience peaceful mountain scenery, streams and traditional settlements. Return to Skardu after sightseeing and spend the evening at leisure.

Travel to Shigar Valley and visit the historic Shigar Fort and surrounding village. Continue to the spectacular Sarfaranga Cold Desert, famous for its vast sand dunes surrounded by mountains. Enjoy photography and sightseeing before returning to Skardu.

Depart for a full-day excursion toward Manthoka Waterfall and Khaplu Valley. Experience the dramatic waterfall, mountain scenery and traditional settlements of Baltistan. Explore key attractions around Khaplu as time and conditions permit before returning for an overnight stay.

Take a 4x4 excursion to Deosai National Park, subject to seasonal opening, weather and road conditions. Explore the vast alpine plains, streams and spectacular high-altitude landscapes of Deosai. Visit key viewpoints such as Bara Pani and Sheosar Lake where accessible before returning to Skardu.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey toward Islamabad. Travel through the mountain valleys with scheduled refreshment stops along the route, concluding the 10-day Hunza and Skardu Grand Tour in Islamabad.
