Discover Fairy Meadows
Fairy Meadows is a flat, grassy plateau at 3,300 metres, offering the closest accessible view of Nanga Parbat — the world's ninth highest mountain and one of its most beautiful. The meadow is carpeted with wildflowers from May through August and ringed by dense pine forests, giving it a fairy-tale quality that inspired its name. The jeep track from the KKH to Tato Village is one of the most thrilling drives in the world — a narrow dirt road carved into a cliff face — followed by a two-hour trek through pine forest. Arriving at Fairy Meadows and seeing the Rupal Face towering above you is a moment of pure awe.
